We would like to thank the Red Garter Hotel & Casino for everything that they have done. The Red Garter has offered us a group rate for our stay, their Convention Center for our opening reception and closing awards ceremony . They will also be providing us with an hourly shuttle to and from the Wend over Raceway on Saturday and Sunday. Wot a Deal !!!!!!!!!!

The Red Garter also butts up with the Motel 8 and the KOA for you folks that will be bringing yer Motor Homes. Perfect accommodations for our event.

Please call for reservations at (800) 982-2111. You will need to ask for Sean Mowray or Barbra Eakins in Sales and Marketing. Let them know that you need to make a reservation for the "Rat Fink Weekender" June 28-30th.

For you folks that want ta bring yer Motor Homes The KOA is offering a great deal @ 24.95 per night up to 2 people includes all hook ups and even cable TV. $ 3.00 per night for every additional adult in your party. They also have (6) Single Room Kabins @ $ 30.00 double occupancy per night includes air conditioning the singles sleep up to (4) $ 3.00 per night for every additional adult in your party. They also have (1) Two Room Kabin @ 35.00 per night double occupancy sleeps up to 6 $ 3.00 per night for every additional adult in your party. An last but not least they got traditional Kamp sites too.....

Driving Directions from El Lay Via.... Las Vegas. All others Take I 80 as simple as that.

Driving the ‘short way’ to Wendover from Las Vegas
Leaving from Vegas take I-15 North.
Turn on to 93 North (may be known as Apex off-ramp).

Follow 93 North going through Alamo and Ash Springs.
Just past Ash Springs you’ll want to take Alternate Route 318 North
through Lund.

You won’t want to go on the Extra Terrestrial Highway – that's the
scenic route of 93 ... So make sure you take a right and go to Lund.

Drive through Lund. When you get through Lund you’ll hook up with 93
again take a right hand turn towards Ely.

In Ely, make a left hand turn into town and follow your way out of town
towards McGill and on towards Wendover.

On a great day with the pedal to tha metal you can make it to Wendover in about 5
½ -6 hours. Total from El-Lay approx 10-11 hrs.... Not bad !!!!!! But !!!!!!!!!

Just to let ya know 93 is a small hwy and if she is backed up with a lot of Slow Truck Like traffic and the weather can also slow ya down.... Worst case scenario would be approx. 15hrs. so take it from there.
