Well on our way back home we stopped in Reno again to pay Tribute To some of Ed's creations that he donated to the National Heritage Museum A.K.A. the Harrah's Collection
The Beatnik Bandit 1960.. the frame was a '50 Olds shortened 85 inches, she featured an Olds engine with a bell Auto Parts Blower twin ford Carbs built by Fritz Voight. the fender mounted antenna operated the bubble top the was operated by an interior joy-stick control the upholstery was done by Ed Martinez. The car was painted green back in 1962 and then restored to it's original color scheme at a later date. |

The Beatnik Bandit II A.K.A. The Beatnik Bomber 1995. Ed built this car while working at Snow college, this was Ed's Tribute Car to the original Beatnik Bandit She's powered by a Chevy 350 and can really move. | |
Ed stayed very busy while working at Snow college, he built all three of these miniaturized vehicles during that period. The Wheelbarrow based Yankee Blitz. |
The Fink Mobile was a Five wheeled wonder powered by a Honda Elite. |
The Conistoga Star pictured above was one of several Wagon based Vehicles. The Booger Buggy woz one and another called tha Wagenmister. Ed also invented a Honda powered lawn Tractor Called Sour Grapes which ended up in a junk heap after seeing one that looked similar at the local Discount Super Store. |
